Founder & Visionary Leader

Philip Ankrah

Philip is the heart and soul behind Every Contact Counts (ECC). With over a decade of experience in fitness and wellbeing industry, he founded ECC to address health inequalities and promote community connections.

Philip's expertise in helping individuals overcome physical and mental health challenges has transformed countless lives.

Back in 2019 at the time working within the private mental health sector, Philip was introduced by his former football coach John Creith to Richard Hay’s pathway project forming a partnership where Philip was delivering football training sessions for service users from Cygnet Hospital and Park Royal Centre for Mental Health.

Philip was admired by this community programme recognising the potential to do even more he was soon joined by like-minded individuals who shared his drive to make a difference.

His vision and dedication continue to inspire the team and the communities ECC serves.

Trustees

Treasurer & Healthcare Practitioner

Ruby Mamon

Ruby, a qualified LLB Law graduate, transitioned into the pharmaceutical sector and now has over 15 years of experience in this field.

She currently has an executive role in the management of an established pharmacy with her previously being the founder, director of her own natural health store.

Our treasurer adds a wealth of experience to ECC with her leadership and communication skills by bringing her sense of understanding of community needs.

Trustee & Legal Consultant

Leah Adjei-Mantey

Leah offers specialised legal advice to clients, assisting them in navigating complex legal issues.

Leah has an extensive portfolio of clients, helping to achieve their business goals by providing expert advice in their field of proficiency.

We’re grateful to have Leah’s expertise on our board of trustees as she is an advocate for community cohesion.

Trustee & nasogastric nutrition nurse specialist

Dadrian Cummings

Brings a vast experience within the Mental Health Sector - past experience as Clinical Team Lead on acute wards.

Dadrian is now assessing nutritional needs and treatment requirements, providing advanced technical skills in relation to naso-gastric feeding, Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy, Radiologically Inserted Gastrostomy and Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters.

Providing specific training for nurses, patients and carers. Dadrian is an asset to our board of trustees at ECC.

Richard Hay

Richard has dedicated over 30 remarkable years to the field of mental health, serving as an inspirational advocate and community champion.

His unwavering commitment and extraordinary dedication have gone above and beyond to empower individuals with mental health challenges, inspire young people, and Supporting service user's and numerous community organisations.

Richard has been at the forefront of challenging stigma, promoting free access to mental health services, and encouraging others in the community to embrace inclusivity.

As a long-standing referral partner, his collaborative and co-produced initiatives have significantly advanced mental health support. Richard’s exceptional efforts continue to inspire and create lasting change, making a profound impact on countless lives.

Fitness Trainer

India Sait

India’s experience in the education and training, with a strong focus on supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Holding a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science, India has combined her academic background with professional qualifications, including a Level 2 Gym Instructor Certificate, Level 3 Personal Trainer Certificate, and a Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism, to deliver impactful, inclusive initiatives that empower diverse communities.

India has successfully designed and delivered transformative programs tailored for SEND individuals, including a nationwide pre-employment program that bridged the gap between education and employment for neurodiverse participants.

Her expertise extends to creating accessible training content, managing projects, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure measurable, meaningful outcomes.

Fitness Trainer

Kevin Osei-Bonsu Holder

Kevin is an experienced Physical Health Activity coordinator, he graduated from university in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in sports and exercise science.

In 2022 to expand his knowledge within the mental health sector Kevin decided to work as a volunteer assistant coach for ECC. This was valuable experience as this gave him the opportunity to work across hospitals, schools & community centres.

ECC provided Kevin with extra training which helped him complete his Level 2 Gym Instructor Certificate & Level 3 Personal Trainer Certificate. Kevin’s experience working with service users is an asset to ECC, his extensive knowledge and know how to interact/engage therapeutically is a stand out and testimony to his contribution providing high quality care.

This requires building a rapport, promoting sports and exercise facilitating a range physical activity group exercises and healthy eating workshops which are structured in aid of improving service users health and wellbeing.

Restraint and Violence Reduction Trainer

Enaruna Edosomwan

Enaruna brings a unique experience to ECC, as a Restraint and Violence Reduction Trainer within the private mental health sector for Prevention & Management of Violence & Aggression (PMVA).

Enaruna teaches people that provide services for Mental Health individuals on how to maintain safety using reasonable justifiable force.

ECC are privileged to have Enaruna as part of our Fitness Trainer staff team.

Marketing Production Manager

Arya Saedi

Arya is responsible for building and managing the digital marketing team, leading all digital marketing initiatives from campaign ideation to execution, measurement and optimisation and ensuring all digital efforts are integrated with relevant company functions to achieve ECC objectives.

Arya’s experience brings immense value to ECC. Within the boxing and fitness industry, having had commercial marketing collaborations working with professional boxers/athletes and influencers that have featured on Sky Sports Boxing, Boxxer, Miami Pro, Americas got talent, Sports Direct, Bet 365 & Everlast.
